Meet Our President
Mr. Jared Mlynczyk (/mill-en-check/)
Westminster Christian Academy is pleased to welcome Mr. Jared Mlynczyk as our new President.
Mr. Mlynczyk brings a deep passion for Christian education, a strong background in academic leadership, a love of fine arts, and a passion for athletics—having previously coached both football and basketball—to WCA. With degrees in Teacher Education and Educational Technology, along with post-master’s training in K–12 Educational Leadership and an active Head of School certification from the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI), he is exceptionally equipped to guide our school into its next chapter.
Born in Detroit, Michigan, and raised primarily in Eugene, Oregon, Mr. Mlynczyk and his wife Leah have been married for nearly 20 years. They have five children—Keila (16), Brycen (14), Annie (10), Preston (7), and Darcy (3)—all of whom are excited to join the Westminster community and put down roots in the rich culture of Acadiana. The Mlynczyks have spent the last several years in the Fort Worth, Texas area and are thrilled to now call Louisiana home, drawn to the region’s culture, community, and family-centered values.
Mr. Mlynczyk’s calling to Christian education began during his years as a math teacher and coach. His desire to see students grow in truth and leadership, rooted in Christ, guides his vision for our school. As he describes it, “Christian education is a beautiful ministry that goes beyond presenting truth—it’s lived out through relationships and real-world application.”
