At Westminster Christian Academy, we believe our teachers are one of God’s greatest gifts to our school community. They are more than instructors. They are mentors, disciplers, and daily examples of Christ-like character for our students.
In many ways, our teachers are the living curriculum of a quality Christian education. What they model each day matters as much as what they teach.
Scripture reminds us of the importance of honoring those who serve faithfully. In 1 Thessalonians 5:12-13, we are instructed:
“Respect those who labor among you and are over you in the Lord and admonish you, and to esteem them very highly in love because of their work.”
That is exactly what our teachers do. They labor daily to educate, disciple, and lead with excellence. Their work is not only academic. It is spiritual, relational, and deeply formative.
For that reason, Westminster Christian Academy has established the WCA Teacher Excellence Fund. This fund exists to strengthen the mission of Christian education by investing in those who lead it, our faculty. Through this fund, we will provide long-term support through salary enhancement and professional development opportunities.
To launch the Fund, we have received a $125,000 matching gift toward this vision. Our goal is to reach $250,000 by the end of 2026.
This is not a short-term initiative. It is a lasting investment designed to bless today’s teachers and sustain excellence for generations to come.
